We finally seem to be accepting urbanisation as a phenomenon which has to be addressed, rather than ignored and cities as significant localities of change. theindiancity.net invites concerned citizens, institutions, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to build an interlocking community of people and institutions to participate in conversations about urban India. While visitors will have access to much of the site’s resources, members will have their own website and access to an offline library, face to face meetings and other resources. As is evident, we are in the middle of construction, and we would welcome members’ help in building the community. You can read more or join the network by clicking on the bar below.
